Over the past several weeks, we’ve been working behind the scenes on one of the largest updates in KonNetwork’s history. While many of the changes are visual, the real goal has been much broader: creating a publication that’s easier to navigate, easier to understand, and more focused on thoughtful editorial coverage.
Today, we’re rolling out that foundation.
A Homepage Built Around Editorial Coverage
The homepage has been completely redesigned to better reflect how KonNetwork covers the gaming industry.
Rather than presenting everything as a single stream of content, the homepage is now organized into dedicated editorial sections. The Frontline highlights our lead story, Critical Analysis brings together reviews and retrospectives, Perspectives showcases long-form features and editorials, Sector: GFL2 serves as a dedicated hub for our Girls’ Frontline 2 coverage, and The Chronicle: Network Wire provides a streamlined feed of the latest news published across the site.
The goal is simple: help readers find the type of coverage they’re looking for without sacrificing editorial clarity.
A Simpler Way to Browse Reviews
We’ve also redesigned the Review Archive.
Instead of maintaining multiple archive pages separated by platform, every review now lives within a single streamlined archive. Readers can browse every review from one location or quickly filter the archive using the platform selector, making it easier to discover coverage without jumping between separate pages.
Refreshed Site Pages
This update extends well beyond the homepage.
We’ve reviewed and refreshed many of KonNetwork’s core pages, including About, Contact, Press & Media, Editorial Methodology, Glossary & Terms, Join the Team, and our Privacy Policy.
Several pages have been rewritten for clarity, while others have been consolidated to reduce duplication and better explain how KonNetwork operates, how editorial decisions are made, and what readers can expect from our coverage.
A New Review Experience Begins Tomorrow
The next step in this update arrives tomorrow.
Our upcoming Star Fox (2026) review will introduce a redesigned review format that places a greater emphasis on readability, consistency, and thoughtful criticism. The updated structure represents the future direction of KonNetwork’s reviews and will become the foundation for future review coverage moving forward.
Looking Ahead
This update marks an important milestone for KonNetwork, but it’s not the finish line.
Our focus now returns to publishing the content that brought us here: thoughtful reviews, in-depth features, retrospectives, practical guides, and timely Chronicle coverage. We’ll continue refining the publication over time, but these changes establish the editorial foundation we’ll be building on in the months and years ahead.
