Stupid Never Dies Targets Fall 2026 in New Trailer

We finally have a clear launch window for developer GPTRACK50’s debut project. The studio announced that the official Stupid Never Dies release date is set for this fall on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Alongside the seasonal timing, the developers confirmed that the game will ship with full English voice-overs. It will also include subtitle support for 13 different languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

An Undead Underdog Story

The game drops you into a giant dungeon ruled entirely by monsters. Instead of playing a typical hyper-powerful hero, you control Davy, a timid zombie stuck at the very bottom of monster society. After falling in love at first sight with a frozen human girl named Julia, Davy sets out on a quest to fight his way through the dungeon, level up, collect odd items, and find a way to bring her back to life.

Combat relies on fast action mixed with body customization. Davy can directly steal abilities from defeated enemies and upgrade his own corpse with strange parts and mechanical gear to completely change how he fights.

The Hub Crew: Companions & Sub-Systems

As you explore the dungeon, you unlock a home base filled with a cast of weird companion characters who help you upgrade your stats and skills:

  • Dr. Frank & Goyle: Dr. Frank is a self-proclaimed genius scientist who tracks your progress at his “Jupiter Target” station. Defeating enemies and eating their cores unlocks rewards like statues, pins, stickers, and badges here. To check your stats, you talk to Goyle, an immobile stone statue monster who sits in the “Security Room” and keeps track of your latest dungeon runs and upgrade materials.
  • Bessie: A tough zombie biker who uses her motorcycle to ferry Davy back to the surface when a dungeon run ends. She runs a burger joint called “Bessie Burger,” which is where you unlock new zombie skills and upgrade their rarity tiers to give you more combat options.
  • Acelino: A sharp-witted Chihuahua man who acts as the doctor’s right-hand assistant. He hangs out at a tattoo shop called “Ink on the Brain,” where you go to build, manage, and install special high-tech gear directly into Davy’s body to boost his base stats.

Boss Fights & Weird Monsters

To make your way deeper into the dungeon, you have to fight your way through challenging bosses serving an ultimate leader called the King of Monsters (KOM):

  • Afleets: High-ranking flame demons who proved their loyalty to the king by drinking hellfire. They fight using intense heat combined with high-tech gravity-control systems that double as exercise machines.
  • Wyverns: The airborne scouts of the monster army. While they are great at diving attacks and scouting ahead, they are notoriously scatterbrained and frequently forget their active military orders mid-flight.

The world map is also rounded out by distinct wandering characters. You will run into Bob Dullahan, a headless rebel singer whose central core was eaten by the king after a failed uprising, and Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers, a giant bird who treats the entire dangerous situation with total indifference.
