No AI Used for Tupac’s Character

Instead of using generative AI tools to recreate his voice or looks, the development team is building his character model the old-fashioned way. They are working directly with his estate, Amaru Entertainment, using archival photos and old video footage to design his in-game appearance. The studio says they want to make sure they respect his legacy, though specific details on how he fits into the story are coming later.

The Rest of the Cast

RGG Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama announced the launch date on stage alongside Snoop Dogg and his son, Cordell Broadus, who are both playing characters in the game. Snoop Dogg is also helping write and perform the main theme song. He is joined on the soundtrack by Japanese pop singer Ado, Satoshi Fujihara, and Tori Kelly, who all double as characters in the story.

For longtime fans of the studio, series regular Takaya Kuroda is back in the cast. He is joined by actors Takashi Ukaji, Yasukaze Motomiya, and comedian Kohei Tsuji.
