IO Interactive has announced a publishing partnership with Build A Rocket Boy for MindsEye, the upcoming single-player action-adventure game led by former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for Build A Rocket Boy, with IO Interactive publishing the studio’s debut title while development continues ahead of its release.
What Is MindsEye?
Set in a near-future America, MindsEye follows Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by memory loss and mysterious flashbacks caused by a neural implant. As players uncover the truth behind his past, they’ll navigate a world shaped by artificial intelligence, corporate espionage, political corruption, and advanced military technology.
The game blends cinematic storytelling with high-speed driving, third-person combat, and futuristic technology as players complete dangerous covert missions throughout its narrative-driven campaign.
Build A Rocket Boy’s First Published Game
Build A Rocket Boy was founded by former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies and is developing MindsEye as its first major release. With IO Interactive serving as publisher, the partnership brings together two studios known for creating narrative-focused action experiences.
Although a release date has yet to be announced, the publishing agreement signals continued progress toward the game’s launch. Additional details are expected to be shared as development continues.
