Committee of Zero has unveiled a collection of anniversary gifts to celebrate Steins;Gate‘s 15th anniversary, including two new improvement patches, updates on several fan translation projects, and news of a major Science Adventure sale from MAGES.
Renowned for its fan translation and restoration work across the Science Adventure series, Committee of Zero released new enhancement patches for STEINS;GATE ELITE and STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram, while also sharing progress on its ongoing translation efforts.
Committee of Zero Anniversary Gifts
The anniversary celebration includes three major announcements:
- STEINS;GATE ELITE Improvement Patch
- STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram Improvement Patch
- Progress updates on the CHAOS;HEAD Love Chu☆Chu! and CHAOS;CHILD Love Chu☆Chu! translation projects
STEINS;GATE ELITE Improvement Patch
The new STEINS;GATE ELITE improvement patch introduces a full proofreading pass, translation refinements, restored dialogue omitted from the official release, display fixes, and improved text formatting. It also adds karaoke subtitles for the game’s opening and ending themes.
STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram Improvement Patch
Committee of Zero also released an improvement patch for STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram, bringing translation corrections, enhanced typography, restored technical improvements from the original release, updated CGs and videos, and karaoke subtitles.
Translation Project Updates
Committee of Zero also provided a progress report on several ongoing fan translation projects.
CHAOS;HEAD Love Chu☆Chu!
The project is nearing the end of its initial translation phase, with translation checking already underway. Editing continues as the team works toward completion.
CHAOS;CHILD Love Chu☆Chu!
The team reported that editing has been completed, with remaining work focused on proofreading, testing, image editing, and final polish. Committee of Zero remains hopeful for a 2025 release while emphasizing that quality remains the priority.
The group also confirmed that translation checking for STEINS;GATE: My Darling’s Embrace is progressing, with additional editing work planned for supporting assets.
Committee of Zero also shared a demonstration of its Impacto Engine, showcasing the technology powering the Love Chu☆Chu! projects and offering fans a closer look at the team’s ongoing development work.
Science Adventure Sale Underway
Alongside the anniversary celebrations, MAGES has launched a Steam and Nintendo eShop sale featuring discounts of up to 80% on numerous Science Adventure titles through October 28. The newly released Committee of Zero patches are compatible with supported Steam versions, allowing players to experience the games with the community’s latest enhancements.
