Patch 1.20 starts a new Silent Hill f Fatal Frame crossover bringing a free DLC costume to Konami’s horror title. The update adds the “Crimson Butterfly” outfit, allowing players to change the protagonist Hinako’s appearance to look like Mio Amakura from the Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake.
How to Unlock the Crimson Butterfly Costume
The cosmetic item is free for anyone who owns the base game. To equip it, you must:
- Update the game to Patch 1.20 or later.
- Interact with an in-game Hokora (shrine).
- Select Change Costume from the menu.
Silent Hill f is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store).
