Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium | April 22 Maintenance Notes

The Girls’ Frontline 2 Exilium April 22 Maintenance is scheduled to run from 19:00 to 23:00 (UTC-4).

Sunborn confirmed that Commanders at level 6 or above will receive 300 Collapse Pieces and 60 Intelligence Puzzles as compensation for the downtime. This update brings a significant amount of content, including the debut of Elite Doll Helen and the opening of the Antiparallel event story.

Helen Rate-Up Details

Helen enters the roster as an Elite Doll. She arrives with her signature Elite weapon, the Dulcet Defender. The update also includes the standard SG-12 and a retired version of the same weapon.

Procurement banners will feature increased drop rates for several characters:

  • Elite Doll Helen (Weapon: Dulcet Defender)
  • Elite Doll Sakura (Weapon: Crimson Covenant)
  • Elite Doll Leva (Weapon: Schlitzohr)

Antiparallel Event & New Facilities

The “Antiparallel – Part 1” story event opens on April 23 at 09:00 (UTC-4). This event introduces the Soirée Starlight Gala gameplay and the Zucchero Cat Café mode. Clearing these stages provides access permissions and Collapse Pieces.

A Fitness Center is being added to the Crew Deck. This facility allows you to decorate the area and interact with Leva on the Rowbike to experience her immersive story scene. The update also includes a Secret Conversation feature in the Blockbusters section to review recorded doll dialogues.

Qiuhua Neural Helix & Technical Fixes

The Neural Helix system is expanding to include Qiuhua (Type-97s). This allows for further attribute growth and progression for the character.

Sunborn listed several optimizations and bug fixes for this deployment:

  • Performance: Resolved a freeze occurring when using the Phase Dominion framework in Artifact Recovery.
  • UI and Logic: Optimized the Dreamscape companion mode and fixed lip-sync issues during the welcome ceremony.
  • Android Fixes: Corrected an animation error for Lewis‘s Sunscreen Battle outfit.
  • Text: Addressed various string errors and subtitle display issues.

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium | Technical Context

For those playing on Nobara or other Linux setups, ensure your client is fully closed before the maintenance window begins. While the game maintains high compatibility with Proton, the changes to the Dreamscape interaction logic and character animations may result in a minor shader compilation step upon the first launch after the patch.
