Sextans builds Rigor Sanguis, applies Amaranth Brand with Midnight Vespers, then follows with Death Knell. Rigor Sanguis raises her Crit Rate and converts any excess into Attack, healing, and Crit Damage, letting her support the team while dealing solid damage at V0.

Sextans fits existing Electric teams without Vertebrae or Twilight Rose, providing damage buffs, Stability support, healing, cleansing, and follow-up attacks. Later investment mainly improves her Electric support and Blade follow-up damage.

Stat Priorities: Attack Boost, Attack, Crit Rate, Crit Damage. Aim for about 80% Crit Rate at V0–V2 and 95% at V3 or higher.

Sextans Vertebrae Breakpoints

V0: Her full support kit is already active. Amaranth Brand adds 3 Stability damage, ignores 3 Stability, and boosts Electric or melee damage. Sextans also provides movement, healing, cleansing, and follow-ups.
V1: Death Knell triggers an extra Sanguine Emblem, restores 1 Confectance Index, and grants 2 Rigor Sanguis stacks. It is most valuable in pure Electric teams.
V2: Midnight Vespers gains a wider area. Amaranth Brand rises from 3 to 5 Stability damage and ignore, while its per-stack damage bonus rises from 3% to 5%. This is her best practical support breakpoint before V6.
V3: Electric and Blade Dolls gain 2 Movement and ignore blocking. Sextans also gains stronger Crit conversion and follow-ups, while Carmine Emblem can raise melee damage taken by up to 30%. This is a major melee upgrade, but an expensive stopping point.
V4: Midnight Vespers grants the team 20% Electric damage for two turns, and Sextans gains Camouflage. It is strong for Electric teams but offers less to non-Electric Blade allies.
V5: Death Knell deals and heals 30% more, cleanses one extra debuff, and no longer removes Blood Kiss. Useful, but one of her smaller upgrades.
V6: Sextans starts with 5 Rigor Sanguis stacks, raises its Crit Rate cap, and upgrades Sanguine Emblem to 90% Attack with 30% Defense ignore. Follow-ups no longer consume Confectance Index, and a full index grants the team 15% melee damage. This is her full-investment endpoint.

Recommendation: V0 offers the best value. V2 is the practical Electric breakpoint, V3 suits committed melee teams, and V6 is the full-investment goal. Twilight Rose is optional and should come after your chosen Vertebrae breakpoint.

Contractor’s Bond (Fixed Key): Sextans gains one Rigor Sanguis stack for each Electric or Blade Doll at the start of battle. Dolls meeting both conditions count once.
Withered Covenant (Fixed Key): Enemies in Stability Break take more damage. Use it when the team can break Stability reliably.
Red Velvet Canopy (Fixed Key): Another Blade Doll’s attack creates Voltage tiles around the target, helping Sextans maintain terrain and trigger follow-ups.
Hushed Inscription (Fixed Key Alternative): Applies Defense Down II before an ally with Amaranth Brand attacks. Use it only when the team lacks the same debuff.
Stigmata (Common Key): Increases melee damage and adds 5% Crit Damage through its stat node.
Artistic Inspiration or Murderous Return (Common Key Alternatives): Both are official options for the remaining Common Key slots.

Pure Electric

How to use: Lenna and Jiangyu strip Stability, while Andoris supports Leva. Apply Amaranth Brand before the main damage sequence, then use Death Knell for healing, cleansing, Voltage tiles, and Rigor Sanguis. Leva remains the carry, with Sextans providing buffs and secondary AoE.

Corrosion and Blade Hybrid

How to use: Follow the listed order so Sextans applies Amaranth Brand before the rapid attacks begin. Basti and Lind support Klukai’s Corrosion damage, while Phaetusa supplies Blade attacks for Sextans’ follow-ups. A highly invested Ullrid can replace Phaetusa.

Official Electric Alternative: The Global build graphic recommends Belka, Leva, Jiangyu, and Andoris. Lenna is generally stronger in the optimized five-Doll core.

Electric and Blade Hybrid: Phaetusa or a highly invested Ullrid can replace Andoris below V6. At Andoris V6, replace Lenna instead. This trades utility for more Sextans follow-up damage.

Trait: When another ally uses an active skill, Sextans gains 1 Confectance Index if she has 5 or fewer. Triggers once per turn.
Verdict: Twilight Rose is best in slot, but Sextans does not need it to function. Chinese testing placed its personal-damage lead over the premium battle-pass option at about 5%. Night Serpent, Pluma Edge, and Gray Thorns are viable alternatives, so prioritize Vertebrae first.
