The Coalition has rolled out a new patch for Gears of War: Reloaded, addressing weapon balance, stability, and technical improvements based on community feedback.

Gnasher Weapon Tuning

The iconic shotgun has been adjusted to better balance its performance:

  • Reduced power at mid-range – Medium-range damage reduced by 15% (close-range damage remains unchanged).
  • Pellet spread adjustment – The spread when aiming down sights is now wider than the launch version but still tighter than in the beta.

Crash & Stability Improvements

  • Fixed several rare crashes and bugs across all platforms.
  • General stability updates to ensure smoother gameplay.

Performance & Visuals

  • Ultrawide 21:9 support added in benchmark mode.
  • Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) now supported in campaign mode on Xbox Series X|S.
