Editor’s Take
This is a massive announcement. GATE ended on a cliffhanger nearly a decade ago, and fans have been waiting ever since. It is a personal favorite of mine. The military angle, political intrigue, and sheer absurdity of its premise just worked.
With a surprise return like this, I hope Mieruko-chan gets a second season. Perhaps we could even see a miracle return for Death Parade. What long-dormant anime do you want to see make a comeback? Let us know in the comments.
