Music Legends Behind the Sound
SEGA has revealed that Yuzo Koshiro and Tee Lopes are collaborating on the soundtrack for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, the upcoming 2D action platformer from Lizardcube.
Koshiro is best known for his iconic work on Streets of Rage, ActRaiser, and Shinobi III, while Lopes rose to prominence with Sonic Mania and more recently TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. The official announcement came via Sega’s X account:
“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the incredible Tee Lopes and the legendary Yuzo Koshiro for the SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance soundtrack!”
The partnership brings together two generations of influential game composers, hinting at a score that blends classic FM-inspired energy with modern production.
About the Game
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a new hand-drawn 2D action platformer developed by Lizardcube (Streets of Rage 4), set to launch on August 29, 2025. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (with Denuvo).
