NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound launches this summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Dotemu and The Game Kitchen have released a new trailer for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, spotlighting the game’s second playable character: Kumori, a deadly operative from the infamous Black Spider Clan.
Kumori brings a ruthless, rule-breaking approach to combat, wielding both modern weaponry and demonic powers. Her journey runs parallel to that of Kenji Mozu, the young Hayabusa Clan ninja who takes up arms after Ryu Hayabusa sets off to avenge his father.
Set immediately after the events of the original NINJA GAIDEN on NES, Ragebound begins as the barrier between the human and demon realms collapses. Kumori and Kenji—members of rival clans—must confront their inherited grudges and unite their souls through a forbidden technique called “Ninja Fusion.” This ability allows players to switch between the two characters and unleash devastating dual-powered abilities.
The game blends cinematic boss battles, intense side-scrolling action, and precise platforming across a dark, monster-infested world. Players can expect upgradeable abilities, hidden collectibles, unlockable secret missions, and optional challenges.
Powered by exquisite pixel art, Ragebound channels the spirit of classic 2D titles with modern flair. Its intense visuals are complemented by a dynamic soundtrack, featuring contributions from guest composers.
