GFL2 Dawnforger update details are officially out. Mica Team fought through broadcast technical issues to lay out a massive 1.5 Anniversary patch split across two distinct phases. Players are getting new units, a wave of outfits, and targeted quality of life adjustments to daily resource grinds.
Phase 1 Roster Additions (June 25)
The initial phase kicks off with a heavy focus on Burn compositions and a completely free Vanguard pickup.
Loreley (DSR-50) & Nighttide Nocturne
- Element: Burn
- Combat Role: Sustained combat backbone. Her kit accelerates the Thermal Conduction charge rate and amplifies overall burn damage output. She also provides a flat, team-wide damage reduction buff at the start of every turn.
- Primary Mechanic: Symbiotic Dance. This targets an ally with a survival buff. If either Loreley or the linked unit takes lethal damage, it automatically triggers a death immunity effect. Both must fall in the same turn to override the safety net. Her ultimate skill summons the Ranger Mk. II to the field for coordinated attacks.
- Signature Weapon: Nighttide Nocturne. Provides a direct passive boost to the squad’s total burn damage. When an ally receives a burn enhancement, the weapon triggers a secondary Attack Up II buff for the user.
Harpsy (TMP) & Antinomy
- Class: Vanguard
- Element: Corrosion
- Combat Role: Free AoE debuffer. You can unlock her entirely for free by completing the Evershifting Hacker event missions starting June 25. She will also enter the Standard Procurement Pool.
- Primary Mechanic: Harpsy applies a Priority Progress buff to her allies. When those buffed units attack, they stack an Antivirus Program status on enemies, which sets off area-of-effect damage and applies heavy stat debuffs across the group.
Phase 2 Roster Additions (July 16)
Cheyanne (M200) & Nightwalker Cardamom
- Class: Sentinel
- Element: Physical
- Combat Role: Long-range firepower specialist. She boasts an exceptionally wide attack range.
- Signature Weapon: Nightwalker Cardamom. Detailed passive parameters will be documented alongside her character showcase closer to the Phase 2 launch date.
Liushih (General Liu) & Transience
- Class: Sentinel
- Element: Hydro
- Combat Role: Coordinated summoner. Her core loop relies on calling a mechanical horse companion onto the grid to fight alongside her. Her launch includes a dedicated story event, Unto the Radiance, to farm upgrade materials.
- Signature Weapon: Transience. Launches simultaneously with her banner to scale her primary Hydro output.
Covenant & Base Updates

All of the dolls in this patch will have their covenants unlocked immediately upon release, allowing commanders to oath them as soon as they are acquired.

To sweeten the deal, Mica Team is distributing 5 dedicated outfit discount vouchers during the update cycle, allowing you to slash the price of select costumes currently featured on the digital storefront.
