Steam First Look

A Tribute to the Greats

Inspired by genre legends like Ikaruga, Touhou, and the CAVE catalog, Danmaku Unlimited 4 WYVER ULTRA blends cinematic flair with punishing bullet hell gameplay. Now powered by a custom engine, the game runs at 4K resolution and 120 frames per second, promising ultra-smooth action with screen-filling bullet storms.

New Systems, Classic Intensity

This sequel introduces the WYVER Blade System, allowing players to slice through incoming fire and convert bullets into devastating counterattacks. Mastery of the blade also opens up new high-scoring opportunities for leaderboard chasers.

Local two-player co-op lets you dodge and blast alongside a friend, with multiple ships, game modes, and difficulties to suit both newcomers and bullet hell veterans.

Music will once again be handled by BLANKFIELD, known for their high-energy metal soundtracks that fuel the series’ chaotic pace.

? Editor’s Take

Doragon continues to push its signature brand of shoot ’em up design while paying homage to the classics. WYVER ULTRA looks to elevate everything from visuals to mechanics—and if past entries are anything to go by, the soundtrack is going to absolutely slap.
