LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS, a prominent game developer, has launched LightSpeed Japan Studio in Osaka and Tokyo to create original AAA action games. This new studio marks a strategic expansion for LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS into the global action genre.

Industry veteran Hideaki Itsuno, a former Capcom leader since 1994 known for directing Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma, Capcom vs. SNK2, and more, will head the studio. Under his leadership, the team aims to push boundaries in gameplay and storytelling using advanced, cross-platform technology.
