A new system update has resolved compatibility issues for over 20 Nintendo Switch games on Switch 2—including Harvestella, Portal 2, and Endless Ocean Luminous.

Here’s the full list of fixed titles as of July 2025:

Nintendo has not stated how many titles remain affected or how many updates are planned in total. But if the current pace keeps up, the compatibility layer for Switch 2 could reach full parity sooner than expected.

Personally, I’m glad Saviors of Sapphire Wings / Stranger of Sword City Revisited now works—I’ve had it sitting in my Switch backlog forever, and this update finally gives me a reason to boot it up on Switch 2.
