Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Ultizero Games have announced a delay for Lost Soul Aside. Originally set to launch on May 30, the action RPG will now release on August 29, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

“We are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside,” said Yang Bing, CEO of Ultizero Games. “To match the standards we’ve set for ourselves, we’re taking additional time to polish the game. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for launch.”

Lost Soul Aside follows Kaser, a war orphan and resistance fighter, as he embarks on a desperate mission to save his sister Louisa and fight off an interdimensional threat. With the help of Arena, a dragon-like former enemy, Kaser faces overwhelming odds in a sleek, combo-heavy action RPG inspired by stylish character-action games.

Players will engage in fast-paced battles, seamlessly swap weapons, and master explosive special abilities through systems like Burst Pursuit, Fusion Merge, and Arena Power. Weapon customization, skill trees, and parry-based survival mechanics allow for personalized builds and gameplay styles.
