SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage will release on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam for $19.99. A Switch 2 version is also in the works and will launch at a later date.
Upgrade Paths & Editions
- PC players who already own Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. (launched January 28) will receive a free update to World Stage.
- PlayStation 4 owners of Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown can upgrade for $9.99, with all DLC carrying over.
- A 30th Anniversary Edition ($49.49) will also be available, featuring:
- Legendary Pack DLC
- Yakuza Series Pack DLC
- 30th Anniversary Swimsuit Costume Set (all characters)
- Virtua Fighter Pre-Production Secret Materials
- 30th Anniversary Music Selection
- Ranking Titles

New Content & Features
? World Stage Mode
A fully voiced single-player mode where players travel the world competing in international tournaments. CPU opponents include fighters based on real-world pro players, and progression leads toward earning the title of world champion.
? Playable Dural
For the first time, the mysterious boss character Dural will be a playable fighter via paid DLC—though she will be banned in official tournaments.
? Cross-Play & Rollback Netcode
- Fight across platforms thanks to full cross-play support
- Experience smoother online matches with rollback netcode
