World Stage Trailer

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio dropped a fresh trailer for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, alongside details for an upcoming open beta. Players can jump in October 1–6 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC to test the new systems before launch.

The full release hits October 30 on PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam, with a Switch 2 version planned for later this winter.

What’s New in R.E.V.O.

The big addition this time is World Stage mode, a global competition setup where players fight through seven booths, challenge rivals built from real-world player data, and climb to the top to cement themselves as champion. Side tournaments will also mix in unique matchups to keep things fresh after the main climb.

Other features confirmed:

  • Cross-play with rollback netcode across PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam
  • Enhanced training tools to help sharpen skills and master each fighter

Virtua Fighter has always been about technical mastery, and this new entry aims to expand that legacy with a worldwide competitive focus.
