Console players will have to wait a little longer to revisit a cyberpunk classic. Nightdive Studios has delayed the release of System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime in the first two weeks of July.

The PC version remains on track across Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Humble Store on June 26.

According to Nightdive, the delay stems from technical issues specific to console platforms:

A new console release date will be shared once those fixes are in place. For now, the PC version leads the charge on schedule.
