The fan translation team Committee of Zero has quietly dropped new patches for two Steins;Gate spin-offs: the 8-bit-style Variant Space Octet and the romantic comedy My Darling’s Embrace.

Variant Space Octet Gets Engine Update


Described as a surprise release, the new patch for Variant Space Octet updates the game engine and improves overall consistency with the rest of the Science Adventure series. For fans of its retro aesthetic and old-school difficulty, the patch ensures a smoother, more uniform experience without sacrificing its charm.

My Darling’s Embrace Gets a Love-Polishing Pass


The My Darling’s Embrace patch focuses on cleaning up the game’s translation. According to Committee of Zero, this includes typo fixes, bug fixes, and other tweaks aimed at improving flow and accuracy.

“Who knows, it might even fix your love life!” the team joked in their announcement.
