Konami has announced that a new Silent Hill Transmission broadcast will air on March 13 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET. The event will deliver fresh updates on Silent Hill f, the next installment in the legendary horror franchise first unveiled in October 2022. Fans can tune in live on YouTube.

Director Al Yang has expressed excitement for the upcoming stream, teasing what’s in store.

Silent Hill f takes the series in a bold new direction, moving the setting to 1960s rural Japan. This shift is backed by an impressive creative team—Ryukishi07, known for his psychological horror storytelling in When They Cry, is handling the writing, while Kera, the artist behind the Spirit Hunter series, is bringing the characters to life. Notably, this will be the first Silent Hill entry developed outside the West since Silent Hill 4: The Room (2004).

Out of all the games revealed during the original Silent Hill Transmission, this is the one I’ve been most eager to see more of. As a fan of Kera’s art and Ryukishi07’s storytelling, I’m especially excited to see how their styles translate into Silent Hill‘s signature psychological horror. Having played the Spirit Hunter series, I know how well Kera’s artwork can enhance an eerie atmosphere, and combined with Ryukishi07’s unsettling narratives, Silent Hill f has the potential to be one of the most intriguing entries in the franchise.
