Silent Hill f 1.10 Update Out | Casual Mode & Skip Option

Konami and NeoBards release Silent Hill f 1.10 update with Casual difficulty, optional New Game+ skips, improved stamina, and multiple bug fixes.

Publisher Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have released the version 1.10 update for Silent Hill f. This update introduces a new action difficulty, a skip feature for certain New Game+ sections, motion blur for available consoles, multiple system improvements and bug fixes.

New Features

Action Difficulty: Casual
Players can select the new Casual action difficulty when starting a game from “New Game” or from a New Game+ save. For those on Story difficulty or higher, Casual becomes available after multiple Game Over screens.

Optional Skip Feature for New Game+ Sections
After completing the “Go through the door” objective post-mural puzzle in New Game+, players can skip to the scene where Hinako awakens in the Dark Shrine corridor for the second time. Skipped items will not be collected, and achievements like “Thankful to Be Here,” “Grateful for a Worthy Foe,” and “Clear Skies” cannot unlock during a skip. Branching paths and endings remain unaffected.

Motion Blur Option
The Graphics menu on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series now includes a motion blur toggle.

System Changes

  • Hinako’s stamina regenerates slightly faster.
  • Unskippable combat encounters are reduced in multiple sections.
  • Enemy counts are slightly lowered in various areas.
  • Hinako’s line after defeating enemies plays slightly later.
  • Damage taken on Hard difficulty is slightly reduced.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved duplicate Shu in the Sennensugi Shrine to Rinko’s house cutscene.
  • Fixed missing interaction icons near the naginata room.
  • Corrected Sakuko-like entity and Fog Monster behavior during combat.
  • Addressed multiple event and enemy progression issues.
  • Fixed issues with New Game+ notes, autosave deaths, and unresponsive controls.
  • Restored proper “View Endings” display after first playthrough.
  • Fixed graphics menu settings reverting during cutscenes (PC) and cursor movement issues on controllers.
  • Other minor bugs related to audio, hitboxes, text, loading, and graphics have been corrected.

The Silent Hill f 1.10 update focuses on accessibility and smoother gameplay while resolving persistent bugs that affected progression and combat, ensuring a smoother experience for players.
