Toei Animation and indie developer Nestopi have released a demo for their upcoming survival suspense adventure, Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO-, now playable on PC via Steam.
Premise
Set in a pixel-art version of modern-day Tokyo, Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- follows Yukinori, a low-profile talent agency manager whose life is upended after a political shooting unfolds during a memorial service he attends for work. Also caught in the chaos is Hinagi, a nationally beloved high school idol who collapses shortly after the incident with a sudden, mysterious fever.
To save her, Yukinori must navigate Tokyo’s backstreets, track down a rumored underground diner dealing in high-end medicine, and complete shady missions—all while avoiding police and prying eyes.
