Return To Inaba’s Streets
For those who missed the original 2008 classic or its subsequent Golden iteration, Revival completely rebuilds the the mystery’s structure from the ground up with revamped modern visuals, an updated user interface, and re-recorded audio.

The narrative follows a high school student who moves to the quiet countryside town of Inaba. The sleepy rural landscape is quickly upended by a bizarre string of serial killings where corpses are left hanging from buildings and transmission towers on foggy mornings. An urban legend spreads about the “Midnight Channel,” which is a mysterious television broadcast that only flickers to life on rainy nights.
Investigation leads you and your classmates to a bizarre realm existing right beyond the television screen.
Mechanically, the gameplay is divided cleanly into a dual-layered loop:
- The Daily Simulation: By day, you handle the routine of life at Yasogami High School, attending classes, taking part-time jobs, and building Social Links with the locals to strengthen your team’s resolve.
- The Turn-Based Combat: By night, you explore the television world to battle the dangerous Shadows hiding in the fog. Battles rely on a highly strategic elemental weakness system. Knocking down every enemy on the field triggers an explosive All-Out Attack with your entire squad.

ATLUS has confirmed they are hosting a dedicated “Persona 4 Revival TV” livestream broadcast next week on June 18 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET. The special presentation will stream on YouTube and promises a deeper, analytical look at the updated story elements, voice cast adjustments, and mechanical system overhauls.
