Nvidia has issued a critical alert for all GeForce GPU owners, urging immediate action to address serious security vulnerabilities in its display drivers and software.

Eight major vulnerabilities, rated as “High” in severity, have been discovered and may allow attackers to access your system, potentially enabling them to execute harmful code or steal personal data.

The impacted products extend beyond GeForce to include Nvidia’s RTX, Quadro, NVS, and Tesla lines, affecting both Windows and Linux users. While Nvidia hasn’t confirmed active exploitation of these flaws, the widespread risk means that updating is essential.

To protect your system, update to the latest driver version. For Windows, download GeForce driver version 566.03. For Linux, use driver versions 565.57.01, 550.127.05, or 535.216.01. Other distributors have issued updates with versions 565.92, 561.03, 556.35, and 553.05.

Using the Nvidia app can help you stay current with driver updates, keeping your GPU and system secure.
