Nintendo’s latest Treehouse: Live – Nintendo Switch 2 broadcast kicked off with a packed first day, offering extended looks at eight upcoming titles in development for the new hardware. From overhauled classics to brand-new entries, Day 1 delivered a strong sampling of what to expect from the Switch 2 lineup.

Mario Kart World
Two major gameplay slices were shown: a traditional Grand Prix match and a glimpse of the all-new Knockout Tour, a survival-style mode that adds fresh energy to the franchise’s formula.

The Treehouse crew showcased two segments—one deep in a mining tunnel, and another centered around exploration mechanics. Both demos showed a vibrant world filled with platforming challenges and hidden secrets.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom– Switch 2 Editions
An upgraded version of the original, featuring enhanced resolution, smoother framerate, and faster load times—breathing new life into one of the Switch’s biggest titles.
Drag x Drive
A new IP with high-speed racing, flashy drifting, and combat mechanics. While details were light, the gameplay teased a strong arcade identity.
Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour
A walkthrough of the console’s new UI and feature set, shown through live navigation and interaction during transitions between titles.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Switch 2 Edition
