Orbitals is the debut project from Tokyo-based indie studio Shapefarm, built specifically around cooperative play. Players control Maki and Omura, two explorers trying to keep their failing space station alive while navigating a supernatural cosmic threat.

The game supports local split-screen, online co-op, and Nintendo’s GameShare feature, with full voice chat integration on Switch 2. Orbitals also leans heavily into early ’90s anime aesthetics, complete with animated cutscenes produced in collaboration with Studio Massket and full Japanese and English voice options.

A Switch 2 demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3 is available today, covering the opening portion of the game. Progress carries over to the full release on March 13, 2026. Capcom also confirmed a Skyscale Queen layered armor bonus for Elanor and showcased three new amiibo.

Cygames announced Endless Ragnarok, a major expansion to Granblue Fantasy: Relink, launching July 9 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Switch 2. Existing owners can upgrade through paid DLC on their current platform.

The expansion adds new story content, additional bosses, expanded co-op quests, a new solo mode called The Conflux, summon mechanics, and full crossplay across all platforms. Physical editions will be available for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 (game-key card).

Square Enix confirmed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming to Switch 2 on June 3, 2026. This entry continues the remake project beyond Midgar, featuring open-world regions, expanded side content, and refinements to its hybrid action combat system.

Tokyo Scramble is a survival-focused action puzzle game set beneath a ruined version of Tokyo. Players take on the role of Anne, a high school student navigating hostile environments and prehistoric threats while searching for a way back to the surface. It launches exclusively on Switch 2 on February 11, 2026.

The Switch 2 version of Hollow Knight adds improved performance, visual upgrades, and additional effects. Owners of the original Switch version can upgrade at no cost. The update is available later today.

Square Enix’s HD-2D action RPG launches June 18, 2026 with pre-orders now live. The game follows adventurer Elliot and his fairy companion Faie as they explore ruins tied to a thousand-year history outside a sealed kingdom. Combat is fully action-based, with fairy abilities playing a strategic support role.

Capcom’s sci-fi action adventure Pragmata reappeared with a gameplay demo now available on the eShop. The game centers on dual-character combat, combining gunplay with real-time hacking mechanics as Hugh and the android Diana attempt to escape a lunar research facility.

Time Stranger launches July 10, 2026 on both Switch and Switch 2, with physical and digital options confirmed. The Switch 2 version offers performance and quality display modes. Pre-orders include bonus Digimon and cosmetic items, with multiple editions available.

A new entry in the PARANORMASIGHT series was announced, set in Ise-Shima and centered on regional mermaid folklore. Players investigate supernatural events across multiple perspectives, with new mechanics including a diving minigame and expanded exploration.

Kyoto Xanadu is set in an alternate version of Kyoto where players balance daily student life with dungeon exploration inside a mysterious labyrinth known as Xanadu. Combat-driven progression and relationship building run in parallel. It is scheduled for release in Summer 2026.
