New indie updates are coming—Switch and Switch 2 included.
Nintendo has confirmed a new Indie World Showcase for August 7 at 6:00 a.m. PT / 9:00 a.m. ET, featuring around 15 minutes of new announcements and updates for indie titles coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
You’ll be able to watch the broadcast live via Nintendo’s official YouTube channel.
While no specific games have been announced ahead of time, previous Indie World streams have included surprise releases and new trailers from both debut developers and returning favorites. With the Switch 2 officially on the horizon, this showcase could be the first time we see indie studios announce dual-platform launches or upgrades targeting the new system.
We’ll be watching closely for any news on the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong.

The tight runtime suggests this will focus on rapid-fire reveals—hopefully with at least one or two “available now” surprises.
