MOUSE: P.I. for Hire is going to need a little more time in the animation studio before it makes its official debut. PlaySide Publishing and Fumi Games announced today that the noir inspired first person shooter has been moved from its original March 19 release window.
The game is now scheduled to launch on April 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Taking Time for Final Polish
The development team shared a message with fans explaining that the decision comes down to making sure the final product meets their standards. As they approach the final stages of development, they want to take the extra care needed to make the game a truly memorable experience. While a delay is never ideal for those waiting to play, the team mentioned that they only need an extra few weeks to deliver the best version of the title possible.
