Build A Rocket Boy and IO Interactive have announced that MindsEye, their upcoming single-player action-adventure, will launch on June 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The game is priced at $59.99 / £54.99 / €59.99.

Pre-orders are live now for both physical and digital copies. Early buyers will automatically receive a Deluxe Edition upgrade, adding the “Premium Pass,” exclusive weapon and character skins, a vehicle skin, and a companion drone skin.

Players who pick up MindsEye also gain access to bonus missions crafted through ARCADIA, the studio’s custom development tool designed to streamline the creation of AAA content.

Build A Rocket Boy founder and MindsEye director Leslie Benzies stated:

“We can’t wait for players to immerse themselves in our tightly crafted game, MindsEye, with a thought-provoking story where technology and ambition collide, and the inevitable consequences unravel.”

A Battle for Control

Set in Redrock, a high-tech desert metropolis, MindsEye follows Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by fragmented memories caused by a mysterious neural implant. As he searches for the truth, he becomes entangled in a world where AI, military power, and human greed push society to the brink.

The game emphasizes high-stakes storytelling alongside tactical third-person combat. Players will face coordinated enemy attacks, overwhelming force, and must rely on environmental awareness and their companion drone to survive.

High-Tech Worldbuilding

The latest trailer offers a closer look at Redrock City, where consumer robots handle daily tasks, and an all-seeing algorithm monitors the population. Key figures in the story include:

  • Marco Silva, the tech visionary behind Silva Industries, who believes in pushing human evolution through innovation.
  • Shiva Vega, the power-driven mayor of Redrock, determined to create the safest city in the world at any cost.

The conflict between Silva and Vega shapes the city and the life of Jacob Diaz, who must navigate the fallout of their power struggle while confronting his own past.
