Capcom has announced the 12th Mega Man entry, Dual Override. Dual Override will launch in 2027 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Blue Bomber. A trailer included the announcement and can be found below.

Mega Man: Dual Override launches in 2027 for all current and last-gen platforms. In addition to revealing the new Megaman, the series is currently on sale for $5 or less on PlayStation Store, eShop, Xbox, and Steam.

After the indie scene has had no shortage of Mega Man Zero or Mega Man X influence, it’s only right for the series to return. With it also being 7 years since Mega Man 11, it’s an unexpected but welcome surprise to have the next entry announced. I’m looking forward to it myself, and will keep you posted as we get closer to it’s release.
