About Steel Ball Run
Set in the late 19th century United States, Steel Ball Run follows Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who lost the use of his legs in a tragic accident. He joins forces with the enigmatic outlaw Gyro Zeppeli to enter the Steel Ball Run, a grueling horse race across the American continent with a staggering $50 million prize at stake.
Editor’s Take
With some fans worried about a potential batch release of this, and with next year already stacked on anime from Frieren Season 2 to Oshi No Ko Season 3 and Science SARU’s take on Ghost In The Shell, I’ll be waiting until it finishes myself. So far, it appears david production has brought their talent to this one, easing concerns that the animation could end up as disappointing as Stone Ocean’s.
