Developer Roman “spy” Glebenkov has confirmed that Intravenous 3 has officially entered full production. He described the upcoming title as the strongest entry yet, serving as both a wrap-up for the series’ story and a culmination of everything he’s learned from creating the first two games.

In his announcement, spy shared that he’s “currently writing up the story and having a ton of fun,” adding that players can expect many returning characters and a “nice wrap-up for all of them.” He also teased new campaign features that will set Intravenous 3 apart from its predecessors.

The Intravenous series has built a reputation for its gritty stealth-action gameplay and uncompromising design, with the first game debuting in 2021 and its sequel, Intravenous 2, releasing in 2024. With spy directly stating his goal to tie up “loose ends,” the third game looks set to deliver closure while pushing the series further in scope and ambition.

We’ve reviewed both Intravenous and Intravenous 2 on the site, so if you’d like to catch up before the third game arrives, you can read our thoughts on the original game and its sequel.
