INARI Announced For PC

South Korean developer 1HP STUDIO has announced INARI, a pixel art action platformer built around high speed movement and kunai based combat. The game is currently in development for PC and will release via Steam.

Update: The Kickstarter campaign for INARI has since surpassed its initial funding goal. Full campaign results are detailed below

INARI places players in an Eastern fantasy setting where combat hinges on precision, momentum, and instant repositioning. Kunai throws double as both weapons and traversal tools, allowing players to teleport across the battlefield and maintain constant forward pressure. Encounters are designed around single life runs, emphasizing mastery over reaction time and spatial control.

The story centers on an executioner tasked with hunting the Seven Daughters, figures who have risen in defiance of a ruling Lord as the balance between divine authority and emerging mortal technology begins to fracture. Players assume the role of Izna, an enforcer sent from the High Realm to restore order by eliminating the Seven Daughters and reclaiming their souls. The narrative frames Izna as a tool of authority rather than a hero, reinforcing the game’s focus on duty over moral choice.

1HP STUDIO cites influences such as Katana ZERO, Nine Sols, Celeste, and Ghostrunner, with an emphasis on speed, tight controls, and lethal encounters.

A playable demo for INARI is scheduled to launch on January 13, coinciding with the start of the game’s Kickstarter campaign.

Inari Kickstarter Campaign

The INARI Kickstarter campaign set an initial funding goal of $10,000.

Campaign Outcome

The campaign surpassed its goal early and, at the time of writing, has raised $36,733 from 594 backers, with 29 days remaining before its scheduled conclusion on February 12, 2026.

A final stretch goal is set at $350,000, which would fund a post-launch DLC expansion if reached.
