MICA Team has revealed Sakura as the next incoming T-Doll for Girls’ Frontline 2, arriving as part of the Advance! Miss Courier! event. Veteran players may recognize her as Type 100 from the previous title, now returning as a Fire Vanguard built around her Luck gimmick damage, Ember generation, and AoE attacks.

Sakura Overview

Sakura packs a petal that’s anything but soft.
Sakura is a fire-themed SMG Vanguard and a second-generation Burn doll. Like Lewis, she can generate Embers to charge Thermal Conduction while acting as a sub-DPS. Her signature ability, Sakura Mark, has a 2-tile radius and activates when she takes burn damage or uses her ultimate, giving Burn some additional AOE beyond Vector and Qiuhua’s ultimates.
Seiyuu: Ai Kakuma
Stat Priorities: Attack, Attack Boost, Crit Rate, Crit Damage

Sakura Banner Notes

The ultimate procurement is in your sights!
Sakura appears alongside Krolik and Nemesis, with her banner running until Feb 18. Her V0 damage is modest and she’s outclassed by Sharkry and Qiongjiu. That said, she’s a reasonable pull if you want her for the dorm, plan to eventually reach V6, or just like her as a waifu.
Vertebrae Breakpoints:
- V0: Generates Embers quickly and provides reliable sub-DPS output. A solid baseline for Ember generation and burn coverage, though she may eventually be replaced by Loreley.
- V3: Grants defense ignore, a large damage boost, and increased crit damage. Also improves rotation, making her more effective in sustained fights.
- V6: Causes multiple Sakura Mark instances to apply to the same enemy from allied active or out-of-turn attacks, expanding Burn’s AOE potential.
Disclaimer:
Sakura is not a must-pull, but can be considered for Fire-focused rosters or collection value.Priority: V6 > R1
Sakura Team Recommendations
Sakura performs well in these fire-based teams and only with fire teams due to then nature and optimization of her Sakura Mark.
- Vector, Qiongju, Sharkry, Lewis, Sakura
- Vector, Qiongju, Sharkry, Lewis, Qiuhua
Crimson Covenant: Sakura’s Signature Weapon

Sign the covenant and watch the sparks fly!
Effect:
- Burn damage is increased by 15%
- Each time an out-of-turn attack is dealth, the damage of them is increased by 7% to a max of 14%
Imprint Skill:
- If a weakness is exploited, ignores 10% of the target’s defense.
- If a burn weakness is exploited, ignores an additional 10% of the target’s defense.
Should you get Crimson Covenant?
It competes with Svarog and the SR version of Svarog which can be obtained from the platoon and also have the ignore defense property. If your Sakura isn’t already V6, it’s not worth unless you’re giving to Peri. Which is the best weapon Peri can wield.
Rerun Banner: Lind

Lind’s back to take the cake!
Lind is a Corrosion based shotgunner appearing in this rerun alongside Ksenia and Littara. She’s a powerful unit even at V0, making her a very safe single copy pull.
Vertebrae Breakpoints:
- V0: Fully functional and strong out of the box. Good for F2P or collection purposes.
- V1: Improves skill 2 usage and ult rotation.
- V3: Increases her application of Honey Trap, creating a more consistent debuff and support
- V6: Enables her ult every turn she has, instead of every other turn, pushing her damage significantly.
Disclaimer:
It’s not recommended to pull for V3/6; one copy is sufficient for most players.Verdict: V0R0 > V1 > V3 >= R1 >= V6
Stop at V0R0 if you’re on a budget, she’s efficient enough without extra investment.
Weapon Recommendations
Her signature Thorn Criterion, AA-12 (SR), Heartseeker, or Mezzaluna.
Recommended Teams
Lind / Mechty / Peritya / Healer or Flex / V6 Klukai
Rerun Banner: Vector

Vector’s second rerun is your last chance to burn through the competition!
Vector is a fire based SMG support appearing in this rerun alongside Ksenia and Littara. She’s a powerful unit even at V0, making her a very safe single copy pull.
Vertebrae Breakpoints:
- V1 is a practical stopping point, providing a 30% Burn vulnerability increase along with an extra support attack.
- V2 offers comparable value by introducing a party-wide dispel and another attack buff, making it worthwhile if resources allow.
- V6 becomes the next notable milestone, where further duplicates focus on enhancing the unit’s personal damage potential.
Disclaimer:
It’s not recommended to pull for V3/6 at the moment. One copy is sufficient for most players, and with the eventual release of Loreley you’ll want some cubes saved up for her.Verdict: V0R0 > R1 > V1 > V2 > V6
Stop at V0R0 if you’re on a budget, she’s efficient enough without extra investment.
Weapon Recommendations
Vector’s exclusive weapon, Banshee’s Whisper, is a strong addition but not mandatory to make good use of her kit. If you’re short on resources, viable alternatives like Svarog or Classified Manuscript can still complement her well.
Recommended Teams
Vector performs best in Fire-based teams that can take advantage of her support attacks. QJ and Sharkry pair especially well with her, while the final slot is flexible and can be filled by any unit that provides healing or sustain.

Closing Thoughts
A stacked rerun and a new burn unit make this patch a tough call. If you don’t have Vector yet or are sitting below V1, she’s the priority over Lind and Sakura. Her new Neural Expansion Key (Depression Empathy) is a total game-changer, giving her the ability to heal the whole squad whenever an ally deals Burn damage. Personally, since I’m already rocking a V3 R2 Vector, I’ll be rolling for a V0 Sakura to round out my roster. Best of luck with your rolls, Commanders!
