Girls’ Frontline 2 | Belian Island Episode 11 Breakdown

As part of the latest broadcast, Sakura (Type-100) was revealed as the next T-Doll, a fire Vanguard SMG voiced by Ai Kakuma. Her kit focuses on burn-based area damage, Sakura Mark support effects, and high mobility.

Her ultimate is shown where she summons a truck onto the battlefield that runs over enemies, causing AoE burn damage. Sakura gains Confectance Index from this and a Good Luck effect.

While Good Luck is active, Sakura applies Sakura Mark to an enemy before landing an active attack. Sakura Mark is her unique area support mechanic. When a marked enemy takes burn damage, Sakura triggers an additional instance of area damage to that enemy and nearby targets.

Sakura can also apply Sakura Mark through her passive skill, Felicitous Prayer, which randomly marks multiple enemies at the start of her turn. Using Misfortune Delivery applies both Sakura Mark and Bad Luck to a selected target, increasing the damage taken when Sakura Mark triggers.

As a mobile Vanguard unit, Sakura can reposition aggressively. With Falling Blossom, she can jump directly to an ally or enemy affected by Sakura Mark. Upon landing, she deals area burn damage and gains Extra Command, allowing her to act again immediately.

Sakura also features Thermal Conduction mechanics similar to Lewis. When Sakura Mark triggers and Grand Isekai Adventure has not been used, she gains stacks of Searing Flame. Once enough stacks are accumulated, Sakura applies Embers to all allies, increasing burn damage across the team.

To maximize Sakura Mark’s effectiveness, her signature weapon Crimson Covenant is recommended. It boosts her burn damage and strengthens out-of-turn attacks based on how frequently those attacks occur. Crimson Covenant also allows Sakura to ignore a portion of enemy defense when triggering a weakness effect, with additional defense ignored if a burn weakness is exploited.
