Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Kenshiro DLC will officially launch in June 2026, bringing the legendary protagonist of Fist of the North Star to the roster.

SNK confirmed the news with a new teaser trailer that shows Kenshiro, the successor to the ancient Hokuto Shinken martial art, in action on the streets of South Town. This marks the first full official confirmation for the character after an earlier teaser. He joins Season 2 as the sixth DLC fighter, following Krauser in April and a mystery character in May.
Fist of the North Star Collaboration Details
Kenshiro is the sole successor to Hokuto Shinken and the central hero of the classic 1983 manga created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara. His post-apocalyptic fighting style and commanding presence are being adapted to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ fast-paced mechanics, promising explosive new matchups in South Town.
New Fist of the North Star Anime Information
A brand-new anime adaptation of Fist of the North Star premieres on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting April 10, 2026 (1:00 AM JST). The series features new staff, cast members, and modern video technology to update the classic “end of the century” legend for today’s audiences.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Kenshiro will be available to Season Pass 2 owners or as individual DLC upon release.
