A new take on team sports hits Switch 2 next month.

Overview Trailer

Nintendo has released a seven-minute overview trailer for Drag x Drive, its upcoming three-on-three wheelchair basketball title for Switch 2, and announced a Global Jam demo event happening August 9–10.

What Is Drag x Drive?

Combining elements of wheelchair basketball, rugby, motocross, and skateboarding, Drag x Drive delivers a fast-paced, trick-filled sports experience. Using Joy-Con 2 motion controls on a flat surface, players steer, shoot, pass, dunk, and pull off wild moves like bunny hops and backflips.

  • Motion-based controls let you clap, high-five, and interact with teammates.
  • Three driver classes (Guard, Center, Forward) suit different playstyles.
  • Customize your character with unlockable helmets, armor, tires, numbers, and colors.

  • Online Public Parks auto-match players for six-player games.
  • Private Friend Parks support custom matches and mini-challenges.
  • Offline Mode includes bot matches, time trials, and trick contests.
