Free trial drops on Xbox, PS5, and Steam this week
Bandai Namco and Media.Vision are set to launch a demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger on September 11. The trial version will be available for download on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, giving players an early look at the upcoming RPG.
The demo will feature the entire opening section, with save data transferable to the full game. A separate mode allowing free exploration of Central Town will also be included, giving fans a chance to roam around and soak in the setting ahead of release.
Bandai Namco confirmed that Digimon Story: Time Stranger launches on October 2, 2025 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s the third mainline entry in the Digimon Story series and the first to arrive on Xbox platforms.
