New Evolutions and Story

The Digimon Story Anti-ParadoX DLC expands the endgame roster with new Mega Digivolution routes and a fresh story chapter. The title suggests a continuation of the high-stakes temporal themes found in the base game.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game is also slated for a handheld debut on Switch and Switch 2, launching July 9 in Japan and July 10 worldwide.

Editor’s Take

It is great to see Media.Vision keeping the momentum going with these episode packs. The announcement of the Digimon Story Anti-ParadoX DLC is exactly what the hardcore Time Stranger crowd wants to hear, especially since the base game meta has started to settle.

The timing for the Switch and Switch 2 versions in July is a smart move. Releasing during the summer window gives them a clear runway before the fall juggernauts arrive. If this new episode is as meaty as the previous two packs, it sets a high bar for what Switch players can expect when they finally get their hands on the complete experience this July.
