Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ Set for May 28 Switch Release

Experience has announced Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ for Nintendo Switch, scheduled to release in Japan on May 28.

The title is set within the same world as Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, advancing the timeline by five years. While the setting remains familiar, the new entry frames its narrative as a later incident rather than a continuation, placing its focus on a different group caught in the expanding fallout of Yomi.

Five years after the Underground Explorer incident that sealed away the horrors beneath the surface, signs of instability return. This time, the epicenter is Yomi High School. An entire classroom is pulled into the underworld without warning, cutting students off from the surface and forcing them to navigate an environment hostile to the living.

Survival inside Yomi demands a ruthless adjustment. Death does not mark an ending. Fallen classmates can be brought back and pressed into service, treated as expendable forces required to advance through the labyrinth. There is no branching path or ethical dilemma presented. Living is the objective, and every decision is shaped by that reality.

In Japan, the game will be available both physically and digitally. The digital release is divided into two separate purchases, each priced at ¥3,900. The Transfer Arc contains the main storyline, while the Revenge Arc serves as post game content that unlocks only after progression data from the first arc is present.

An official website for the game is now live, though no information has been shared regarding localization or an overseas release at this time.
