Card-en-Ciel – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Brings Roguelite Card Battles to 4K and 120 FPS

Inti Creates has announced Card-en-Ciel – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, launching on January 29, 2026. Owners of the original Switch version can upgrade via a $10 Upgrade Pack, while a physical edition will also be available in Japan.

The Switch 2 Edition brings the roguelite card-battling adventure to the platform natively, supporting 4K resolution and 120 frames per second modes. Players can also use mouse controls by adjusting the Joy-Con 2 position for faster card selection during battles.

Additionally, a new Expansion Pass is in development, with content planned to release in stages. Early details include:

  • Expansion Pass Purchase Bonus: New exclusive Wild Card
  • Downloadable Content Pack 1: Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark story dungeon and cards
  • Downloadable Content Pack 2: Details coming soon

Card-en-Ciel is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, with the Switch 2 Edition offering upgraded visuals and performance.
