Capcom announced a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight broadcast airing June 26 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET (June 27 at 7:00 a.m. JST). The stream will be available on YouTube in both English and Japanese.

The broadcast promises fresh updates on several upcoming titles, including Resident Evil Requiem, PRAGMATA, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Street Fighter 6. Developer interviews will also be featured, with specific details expected on the latest update for Monster Hunter Wilds.

Editor’s Take

Of the upcoming titles, Resident Evil Requiem stands out the most.

Its approach to choice with first- and third-person perspectives feels like a smart move to bridge fans of the classic reimaginings and those who appreciated the style of Resident Evil Survivor, Dead Aim, and Resident Evil 7. That said, there’s understandable caution given the noticeable drop in quality with Resident Evil Village compared to 7. Hopefully, Capcom has taken those lessons to heart and delivers a game that recaptures the cohesive atmosphere of the earlier entries while respecting what made the originals work.
