Silent Hill f | Manga Adaptation Announced With New Ending

Silent Hill f manga adaptation officially announced! Konami is expanding the game’s narrative with a major new serialized project.

Arriving just six months after the game’s chilling debut, this new series is set to launch on the Young Ace UP digital platform. Perhaps most exciting for fans of the When They Cry series, the manga features a script from the game’s original writer, Ryukishi07, ensuring the transition from console to page stays true to his twisted vision.

A New Sixth Ending

The biggest hook for this adaptation is the inclusion of a completely new ending. While the story of Silent Hill f already features multiple branching paths, this project adds a sixth unique conclusion to the lore. It is currently unknown if this new path offers Hinako a glimmer of hope or a more tragic fate.

Artistic Direction and Serialization

Artist Ame Gokin is handling the illustrations for the series. The initial teaser artwork shows the protagonist, Hinako, surrounded by spider lilies as she looks on in despair. This project follows last year’s official novel and continues to build out the lore of the game’s 1960s Japan setting.

Project Fact Sheet

  • Writer: Ryukishi07
  • Artist: Ame Gokin
  • Platform: Young Ace UP
  • Total Endings: Six
  • Protagonist: Hinako

Editor’s Take

Sticking with Ryukishi07 is a smart move. He is a master of complex, branching narratives, so adding a sixth ending specifically for the manga gives fans a real reason to buy in. It is a refreshing way to expand the franchise without just retelling the same story word for word.

Ame Gokin’s art also fits the mood perfectly. The spider lily imagery is a classic Japanese horror staple, and it suggests the manga will capture that same haunting atmosphere found in the game.

Silent Hill f is out now on Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam, GOG). It is currently 50% off on both GOG untill April 3rd and Steam until March 28th. Interested in the game? Read our deep dive review.
