Privacy Policy

We collect no personal data from anonymous visitors. You can browse the entire site without any tracking, analytics cookies, third-party scripts, or IP logging for profiling purposes. Zero. Only when you actively choose to interact do we collect anything.

Comments

If you leave a comment:

  • We collect the name and email you enter, website (optional), your comment text, and IP address + browser user-agent (only for spam detection via local honeypot tools; never sent anywhere).
  • Standard WordPress comment cookies are set so you don’t have to re-type your name/email next time (these are strictly functional, not tracking).
  • Comments are stored in our database and displayed publicly (with whatever name you chose). We never sell or share them. You can ask us to delete or anonymize your comment anytime.

User accounts / registration

If you choose to register or log in:

  • We collect username, email address, and password (hashed, never plain text).
  • A standard WordPress session cookie is set while you’re logged in (functional only, deleted when you log out or it expires).
  • That’s it. No extra profiling, no marketing, no sharing.

Social login (Google, Twitter/X, etc.

If you log in or register using a social provider:

  • The authentication happens directly with that provider.
  • We only receive the basic info you explicitly allow (usually email + name/username).
  • Their privacy policy applies to that login process. We don’t control it.

Social sharing buttons

  • The share buttons are static links or load the social network only when you click them.
  • Nothing is sent to Facebook/Twitter/etc. just by loading the page.
  • Once you click “Share”, you are interacting directly with that platform and their cookies/policy apply (same as if you pasted the URL yourself).

Everything else

  • Analytics: Independent Analytics (self-hosted, cookie-free), no IPs stored, purely anonymous page-view counts.
  • Hosting logs: Standard temporary server logs exist for security (like every site), auto-deleted quickly, never used for tracking.
  • Embedded third-party content (YouTube, etc.): Blocked behind a permanent click-to-load warning with thumbnail and text. Nothing loads until you explicitly click.

In short:
Anonymous browsing = literally zero data collected.
Everything else only happens if you opt in by commenting, registering, logging in with social, or clicking share/load embeds.

You can ask for deletion/access of anything we hold (comments, account) at any time. Just email konnetwork@protonmail.com and we’ll handle it immediately.
