? About the Game
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is a monster-raising RPG that centers on the bond between humans and Digimon. Players take on the role of an agent from the secret organization ADAMAS, awakening eight years in the past after a catastrophic explosion tied to a mysterious creature. What follows is a time-spanning investigation into the roots of the world’s collapse.
Set across Tokyo and the Digital World of Iliad, the game challenges players to build a powerful team of over 450 Digimon while navigating strategic turn-based battles and unlocking nonlinear digivolution paths.
? Details
An Epic Story of Connection
Your mission begins in modern-day Tokyo, where a city-leveling explosion sends you spiraling through time. As you explore parallel timelines and realms, every encounter with human and Digimon characters alike shapes your role in altering fate itself.
Adventure Between Worlds and Time
Travel between real-world locations and the digital realm of Iliad, a sprawling world filled with myth-inspired architecture, dynamic quests, and interactive environments.
Strategic Turn-Based Battles
Combat revolves around classic Attribute matchups (Vaccine, Virus, Data) and layered Elemental strengths and weaknesses. With more than 450 Digimon to collect and evolve, party customization runs deep—further expanded by personality traits, Agent Skills, and Cross Arts abilities.
? Editor’s Take
With each new preview, Time Stranger continues to feel like a passion project built with care. The combat looks deeper, the worlds more immersive, and everything shown so far makes a strong case for this being one of the standout RPGs to keep an eye on this fall.
