Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- Demo Out Now on Steam

Toei Animation and Nestopi release a demo for Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO-, a pixel-art survival suspense adventure set in modern Tokyo. Help save a sick idol and uncover the truth behind a deadly incident.

Toei Animation and indie developer Nestopi have released a demo for their upcoming survival suspense adventure, Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO-, now playable on PC via Steam.

Premise

Set in a pixel-art version of modern-day Tokyo, Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- follows Yukinori, a low-profile talent agency manager whose life is upended after a political shooting unfolds during a memorial service he attends for work. Also caught in the chaos is Hinagi, a nationally beloved high school idol who collapses shortly after the incident with a sudden, mysterious fever.

To save her, Yukinori must navigate Tokyo’s backstreets, track down a rumored underground diner dealing in high-end medicine, and complete shady missions—all while avoiding police and prying eyes.

Details

  • Explore iconic locations like Shibuya and Shinjuku, alongside more traditional, low-key neighborhoods.
  • Survive by collecting and crafting essentials—food, drinks, and items needed to move the story forward.
  • Avoid surveillance and public attention as you unravel the mystery behind the attack.
  • Keep Hinagi safe as danger escalates for both her and Yukinori in a city that’s become anything but normal.

Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- is a new IP co-developed by Toei Animation and Tokyo-based studio Nestopi, with full release plans to follow. The demo is live now on Steam.
