Mica Team has released the reveal PV for Yoohee, also known as K2, showcasing her upcoming arrival in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. The trailer provides a first look at her design, animations, and in-game presence, all set to debut on May 1st alongside the new event, Escape From Cyborg.

First Look at Yoohee

Yoohee is a flexible support unit with team-wide offensive buffs and defensive utility, built specifically to amplify Physical damage teams. Her defining skill, Never Give Up, grants a powerful team-wide Physical damage buff—but it comes with a strict limitation: it disables itself for two turns on any ally who deals Elemental damage. This makes team-building around her more restrictive, demanding careful composition to fully capitalize on her kit.

She is voiced by Yukiyo Fujii, (Soldier 11, Sailor Saturn, Kayoko Onikata) —a solid reason on its own to pull for her. She’s a worthwhile pull if you’re committed to building a physical -focused team long-term but she’s a heavy investment, and the full lineup to support her still isn’t complete even on the CN server.

According to Prydwen’s China Prydwen’s tier list, Yoohee currently shares endgame placement with Centaureissi, ranking in the second highest tier for Boss content as a utility support. This is assuming you get Yoohee at V3, as V0 doesn’t bring much value to the table for players not intending to hit that V3.

Yoohee’s Skills and Keys

It is recommended to prioritize her first and sixth keys for her key slots. The third key slot is dependent upon whether you want her more for dealing with mobs, bossing or if you want to make her more dispel oriented. For her attachment you want to prioritize in order: attack %, attack, crit rate, crit damage.

Yoohee’s Rate-Up Banner

Yoohee arrives May 22nd, sharing the spotlight with Ksenia and Littara! For those looking to get duplicates duplicates of Ksenia, she is absolutely worth it as she’s still strong for a burn team especially for boss fights. Yoohee is hard to justify outside of her seiyuu, and her extremely heavy investment of requiring V3 to really get a benefit from having her.

If she’s your waifu, it’s also understandable if you roll for her, but as a F2P or someone looking to be efficient, it’s a skip.

Signature Weapon Rate-Up Banner

Is Sparkling Centerstage Worth It for Yoohee?
Yoohee’s exclusive weapon, Sparkling Centerstage, is a strong addition but not mandatory to make good use of her kit. If you’re short on resources, viable alternatives like Golden Melody or Planeta can still complement her well.

Centauressi Rerun Banner

Centauressi (Centy) makes her return on a banner shared with Sharkry, and Nagant. She’s an excellent Burn based Utility unit with very high mobility and has the ability to dispell debuffs on allies and has good healing making her more than a situational unit.

On the CN server as it stands, she’s an S-tier pick with V3 Yoohee for Utility, and S-tier with Suomi V0 for general content as well. If you pull her, V1 is a great stopping point, but V0 is also useful.

Silvered Whispers will be the next event arriving May 22nd with Yoohee’s Banner. A quick event guide will be in its usual place on release.

Final Thoughts

Yoohee’s arrival gives players a head start on forming a Physical damage-focused team, but doing so will require patience—and planning. While she brings a lot of style and is voiced by a fan-favorite seiyuu, her Never Give Up buff strictly limits synergy to Physical-only allies, making her harder to build around in the current meta. On top of that, she’s a heavy investment who doesn’t truly shine until V3, and even on the CN server, her ideal teammates still aren’t fully available.

If waifu > utility, she’s a justifiable pull—but for those prioritizing efficiency, this is likely a banner to skip. If you don’t have Centy yet or only have her at V0, she’s the better pickup for most players.

Whether you’re pulling for Centy, rolling for Yoohee, or just picking up her new outfits, this update still has something to offer. Good luck with your pulls, commanders!
