Akatsuki Games has officially released Tribe Nine, a free-to-play action RPG, now available for download on both iOS and Android devices, as well as PC via Steam.
The game supports multiple languages, including Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Along with the launch, the company has unveiled a new trailer introducing the Support Contract battle pass system. A gameplay trailer can be viewed below.

Support Contract Battle Pass
The Support Contract is a seasonal battle pass offering exclusive rewards that players can unlock as they progress. The current season, called Transmelt Edition, will run from February 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM until April 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM (PST). To gain access, players must complete the first chapter of the story, “Hazardous Workplace.”
Reward Tiers
- Basic Support: Earn valuable items like Enigma Entities and Wonder Boxes as you level up.
- Armed Support: Unlock exclusive skins and a ?3 Tension Card at specific levels.
- Advanced Support: Boost your Contract Level by 10 instantly and unlock additional rewards, such as a limited Name Card Banner and Synchro Medals.
Additionally, players who link their Tribe Nine account to Apple, Google, or Steam will receive 300 Enigma Entities, which can be used in various in-game mechanics, including Synchro.
Chapter 2: A New Threat in Minato City
In Chapter 2 of Tribe Nine, the story takes place in Minato City, once the base of the protagonists from the original anime series. Now under the control of Dominance—where power, status, and appearance define one’s standing—the city has become a dangerous battleground.
The chapter follows Yo Kuronaka and his allies as they face off against #9, the main antagonist of this chapter, as they fight for survival in a world ruled by oppressive order.
About Tribe Nine
Set in the futuristic world of Neo Tokyo, Tribe Nine takes place during 20XX, where deadly games are the norm. Teens engage in brutal life-or-death battles to reclaim their dreams and freedom. Players control a team of three characters, each with unique abilities, to fight against various foes and ultimately liberate the city.
Characters can heal, lure enemies, and combine attacks for powerful results. Players will need to strategize based on their party’s unique abilities. Aside from leveling up, players can choose which stats to improve and which equipment to use.
The game also features a variety of progression tasks, including completing town requests, gathering items from chests and streets, and solving puzzles. New story chapters and cities will be introduced through future updates. While Tribe Nine is free-to-play, in-game purchases are available for players who want to enhance their experience.
